The Islamic Revolution Guard Corps (IRGC) announced the launch of the 85th wave of Operation True Promise 4, stating that its forces carried out a new round of missile and drone strikes targeting several heavy industries belonging to the "aggressive American-Zionist enemy."
In a statement released by the IRGC's Public Relations Office, the operation was conducted jointly by the IRGC Navy and Aerospace Force, in which long- and medium-range missile systems with solid and liquid fuel, as well as one-way loitering drones, were deployed under the codename “O Messenger of Allah.”
The statement reported that several heavy industrial facilities linked to the US and "Israel" were targeted in the occupied territories and other locations, with some sites destroyed. The IRGC said the attack was a retaliation for strikes on Iranian civilian industries, as a response to continued aggression, dedicating this round to the martyrs of the country’s industries and all its workers and producers.
The IRGC further stated that during the operation, opposing air forces attempted to strike its launch platforms, but its air defense units responded.
It noted that a US MQ-9 drone was shot down over Shiraz and that a US F-16 fighter jet was struck in the southern Pars province and was destroyed before landing in Saudi Arabia.
According to the statement, the US Central Command acknowledged the aircraft sustained heavy damage, and the IRGC warned that the strikes were “only a warning," adding that any further attacks on Iranian industrial targets would be met with a response “beyond expectations".

Earlier on March 27, the Islamic Revolution Guard Corps (IRGC) said that, as part of the continued 84th wave of Operation True Promise 4, its naval forces carried out coordinated attacks targeting US and Israeli-linked positions in the Banda Shweikh Port, the Dubai coastline, and port facilities in Dubai.
According to the statement, the operation involved a combination of ballistic missiles and Ghadr-380 cruise missiles aimed at six US Landing Craft Utility (LCU) vessels stationed at Shweikh port. Field reports cited by the IRGC stated that three of the vessels were directly hit and sank, while the remaining ships caught fire.
The IRGC also reported conducting drone strikes on gathering points for US Marine personnel along the coast, as well as targeting a hotel in Dubai, describing the attacks as precise and resulting in significant casualties.
Reflecting what it described as the second phase of the 84th wave, a spokesperson for the Khatam al-Anbiya Headquarters said the IRGC Navy acted under full command oversight in response to what were called provocations by “enemy forces.”
The statement added that a separate, surprise assault on Bubiyan Island using one-way drones and ballistic missiles resulted in multiple US casualties, with the wounded transferred to Saleh Al-Sabah, Mohammad Al-Ahmad, and Ali Al-Salem hospitals. The IRGC reiterated that operations against US forces would continue until their full withdrawal from Muslim lands.
